Leader of the pack Wolf running down hill in snow in Yellowstone National Park in direction of camera. Wolf is one of the wapiti pack of Yellowstone. Photo capture near the Tower Junction in late March on a chilly day with snow covering the ground. Tower junction is between, Tower falls, Mammoth Hot Springs / Gardiner, Montana and Cooke City Montana. Major cities nearby are Bozeman and Billings Montana and Jackson Wyoming. A dead bison (buffalo) had drawn the wolf to this location.
