"The colonnaded birth house or mammisi, part of the Ptolemaic Temple of Horus complex at Esna, Egypt. The birth house, which is covered in fine carved reliefs, played a key part in the annual coronation festival of the divine birth of the falcon god, Horus. The temple complex was begun by the 3rd century BC pharaoh Ptolemy III."
