These men, the Bwa are a West African population living straddles the border of Burkina Faso and Mali. Their traditional religion enshrines a cult to the god Do which is symbolized in particular by masks. Worn to celebrate the harvest but also for the funerals of notables. This mask also protects the village from evil spirits, gives health to the newborn and promotes marriage between young people.
