Tiny "seed" tick attached to human skin with a pinhead near it to give an indication of their miniscule size. Seed ticks are baby ticks, freshly hatched and the are tiny. They look like specks of dust when attached to people or animals but can cause irritating bites equal to those from larger ticks.
