Queen's Life Horse Guards Parade Dismounting Ceremony

London, England - October 10, 2018: A mounted trooper of the Blues and Royals squadron - a member of the British Army's Household Cavalry - the Queen's Life Guards - emerges from an archway in the Horse Guards building facing Whitehall in the City of Westminster, Central London. A sign on the building warns: Beware - Horses May Kick Or Bite! In this vertical composition the front half of the horse is visible and all of the mounted trooper - positioned close-up, center frame, under the arch. The sign is at the upper right margin. The trooper wears a dark blue tunic, silver and gold cuirass breastplate and helmet, black high jackboots, white gauntlets and red plume, with chinstrap positioned below his chin. This is one in a series of thirteen photos of the Queen's Life Guards squadrons during the Four 'O' Clock Parade Dismounting Ceremony.
